I have a little more information from Megumi regarding the magazine that the interview below appeared in.

CROSSBEAT

2005 March issue (cover page: Coldplay)

BURRN! Corporation

Date of the publication: Jan 21th, 2005

The interview was done sometime in Dec 2004, as it says 'just before the New Year'.

Once Megumi has the opportunity, she is going to translate the interview for us. Hope that helps some of you out and at least backs up the information.

So I said that I probably wouldn't have another update until February, but I just can't hold this information without losing my mind so here goes.

My really good friend Megumi, who lives in Tokyo, e mailed me with the following information:

Today I went to a bookshop and checked out a music magazine called 'CROSSBEAT', which is a Japanese magazine. There is an article about FF new album and an interview of Dave.

In that article Dave says that a new song, titled "In Your Honor" will be put at the beginning of the Rock CD. He also says it's so crazy as hell, saying that it's as much as 100 times of All My Life, and it must be an opening song at every show for 2 years from now..!

As for the acoustic one, he seems to have asked lots of musicians to join. He slightly hesitated to tell the details about it, but seems to want one guest for each song if possible, so..... 12 guests at least? Release date would be sometime in June (still not confirmed yet, but they hope so), the current schedule is that all the tracks are to be recorded by the end of Feb and mixing them during March, then once everything will be done without any problems, FOO will go on the road for their shows. It may make sense as some of the Festivals in Europe in July are already booked.

So there you have it. Megumi has promised me that she is going back to get the magazine and give us a little more information (date of the publication, etc.) and if she has a chance, maybe she can type up the whole interview for us.

Very exciting!!!

Can you believe it? More Tsunami Relief Concert Photos of the ever so gorgeous Dave. (Scroll allllll the way down)

Small picture and blurb in the new Rolling Stone Magazine in the Articles & Interviews Section or just click HERE. This one's about the Tsunami Relief Concert.

If you've just discovered us, then check out our Message Board (link above) and come chat with us. Our board is really starting to get interesting.

Bored? Then please sign my guest book. I asked a few days ago and got over 20 entries! Thanks guys! I also responded to a few and need to respond to a few more. I'll get to them eventually.

Our Audio Section has been updated with a new look. It's easier to find what you're looking for now. Our Video section has some new video of the new Studio and making of the new Foo Fighters album.

Speaking of our Audio section, Vania sent me some MP3's a while back and I'm just getting them up on the site. Sorry it took so long. So check out Van's contribution "Rocky Mountain Way" Live (Joe Walsh Cover) from the Foos from February 29, 2000.

That's probably it for January... here's hoping that February will be just as interesting and that we'll hear more of the new album (some of us are still drooling over that one riff).

Take care, everyone!

Um.. several people told me that I sounded really pissed off or even angry in my last update and I just want to say that no.. I was just very tired! Sorry!

The absolutely GORGEOUS Jan from the FF.com postboard has donated some lovely photos that she took the other night at the Wiltern. I added them on to the Tsunami Relief Concert page HERE. Just scroll down. Also, our girl on the scene, Rival (postboard mod here) was at the show and took some beautiful pics of Dave for me, oh excuse me, us, as she was patiently waiting to pinch Ed Vedder's ass... which unfortunately for her never happened. Click HERE and HERE to see them.

And thanks to everyone who is signing the guest book here! (I added a few replies to your comments and will do some more when I get a chance). Link is up there at the top if you want to add your $.02.

Oh - I updated the audio page and it's a tiny bit easier to look at and find what you're looking for... you're welcome.

Okey dokey, kids.. that's about it for me. I'm going out.

The Foo Fighters Don't Party

PizzaHut.com sucks ass. It takes too long to order a pizza online. I might as well pick up the phone. I'm officially THAT lazy. It's not my fault though, and I admit that I am both exhausted and retarded for choosing to order online rather than the phone, but I honestly don't think I can communicate today with any more people. Working solid for 2 weeks straight, 16-20 hour days can make you a tad bit edgy.

So yeah, I've e-yelled at a bunch of people over the last two weeks and I apologize for being a total jerk but there's only so much coffee in the world and it doesn't always help Cat out.

Let's not even factor in that January has been a busy month here! Not that I mind; I actually enjoy updating the website. You know you're into it a little too much when you tell your boss you'll get to whatever it is you get paid to do right after you finish updating your website. Luckily for me, my boss (yes, female) thinks Dave is the most adorable guy in the world and waits for the updates herself.

Soooooo... please watch the following videos of the Foo guys in the studio. You'll have to right click and save to your computer.

Birth of a Dream

You'll need Windows Media Viewer to watch. Ahh, those boys are just too damn funny.

What else..? Oh.. there is a good article on the show from the other night at the Wiltern right over NYAH .

It's been a few days, but if you didn't get to check out Dave's birthday wishes, you can read about it below in the Jan. 14 update or just head straight over to the page.

The MP3 for the new song that Dave sang at the Wiltern is NYAH . "Razor of Mine". I like it. There's also tons of photos from the show NYAH.

Can everyone please sign my guestbook above? Please? Or check out our message board (link above).

Amazingly, my pizza has arrived so that should tell you how long it took me to update this thing.

Later, 'taters...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, DAVE!!!!!!

Well, well,well.... the big 3-6. My goodness how time flies. Didn't you just turn 30 or something..? Like... are you really this OLD? Just teasin', Dave. You know we love you.

To check out all the wonderful birthday wishes for the Grohl, click HERE. Thanks to everyone who contributed....we can't speak for Dave, but hopefully he'll be feeling the love.

Make sure you scroll all the way down, check out everyone's wishes, and then click the link at the bottom for my special birthday contribution.

In Non-Birthday news: Dave will be performing Monday the 17th in Los Angeles at the Wiltern with Tenacious D among others as a fundraiser for Tsunami victims. Tickets were sold through Ticketmaster, but I believe that they are all sold out now so.. sucks for you if you were all excited there for a second and then realized you couldn't go. :-p Our very own 'Rival' who helps out around here will be going (the lucky bitch) so.... yeah, she's not my friend at the moment (until she returns with pictures, that is..).

That's about it, boys and girls. Here's hoping Dave has many, many more birthdays....

xoxoxoxo,

Happy New Year everyone!

Can you believe this is the start of our 8th month online?

Just a quick reminder: Dave's birthday is January 14 and if you have any contributions (pictures, notes, etc.) please e mail them to me at OneEyedCat@sweetparamania.com. We have a nice little collection going, but more would be nice. Our deadline is Jan. 12.

I'd like everyone to take a moment to read THIS interview with Rye Coalition. It also mentions Dave as the producer of their album. And hello to my friend Dave Leto from R.C. (Hope you have a great new year!). You can also check out our page here on Rye Coaltion.

Thanks to everyone for making the past 8 months fantastic where this website is concerned. I wasn't sure that it was something that I could do or if it would be received well, and so far it has been an absolute blast. I appreciate all the help and support from everyone.. and we'll make 2005 even better!

~Leecy
