Howdy.
I have a few more photos from the Milan, Italy show from some very generous people who were lucky enough to be at the show. Daria (who is a regular at our message board.. not to mention just an all around beautiful, sweet girlie) and from Jacopo, from Florence, Italy, who says the show was really great. Both of you took some awesome photos and I can't thank you enough for letting me put them up for everyone else to see. I added them to our Milan page that I had all ready started with photos from Leigh, so go HERE to check them all out.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. It's amazing how someone on the other side of the world can be leaving a Foo Fighters concert and basically rush home and e mail my lazy, sitting on the couch watching the Tivo'd "My Name is Earl" episode- ass and say "Leecy, I just got home from the concert in Milan- here are pictures from the show!!" I love it! Soooo, you have Leigh to thank for these. (No bitching about the short hair, 'cause I'm digging it.) There's a couple of Taylor as well. That sort of brings me to this question. Why is it that the "Taylor photos" thread at our forum is more popular than the "Dave Photos" thread on a freakin' Dave Grohl website? It boggles the mind. Taylor should get his own darn fansite.
I want to thank everyone again for contributing to the Dave Birthday page. It was a lot of fun this year and I got so many nice complements over my little photoshop thing. I do hope that Dave saw it. If any of you happen to be lucky enough to see him in the next few days.. and can't think of anything to ask because you're too nervous.. well, there you go. Ask him about the birthday book and tell him if he didn't see it to get here quick. (Just a little FYI, I added a few belated wishes.)
I also want to mention that I got an e mail from Matt who is a member of "Monkey Wrench". Remember those guys? They're a Foo Fighters Tribute band and they appeared on 24 hours of Foo on MTV2. Anyway, we now have a link to their website in our links section or you can just follow this link HERE.

Happy Birthday, DAVE!!!! I had a realllllllly long paragraph written out, but decided I should just shut up with the rambling and get on to the sweet birthday love. I do have to say the following though...
Thanks to the beautiful Kelly in Australia who hooked us up with the entry page image. She's always there to help me out and I appreciate it so much. The same goes for my friend Kevin who went WELL beyond my wishes and really made my contribution come to life.
Normally I would put all the fans wishes first before mine, but seriously, I've been working on this thing since November and driving my friends nuts with it (as you will see) so I'm going first this year. There is a link to the fans wishes at the bottom of my page and as always there will be a permanent link in the photos section.

Rye Coalition is finally releasing that album. I was beginning to wonder, but it's actually happening. Why is this important to you? Well, other than the fact that they're just a great band, the album was produced by Dave Grohl. You remember him, right? Check out the article HERE from Filter Magazine (online). Chariots On Fire is the name of the album AND if you're lucky enough to be over there in Europe, Rye Coalition will be opening for Foo Fighters at select shows. (Hello to Dave Leto.. haven't talked with you in a while!). I had the opportunity to catch a show of theirs a while back and highly recommend you do the same if you have the chance.
Remember that this Thursday, January 12 is the deadline to get your Dave Birthday wishes in to me. Send them to Lisa@sweetparamania.com.

Wow, am I glad to see you guys. Believe me, with the computer troubles that I have been having here lately, it's a wonder that I can even update this place. I basically lost everything I had on my computer (word to the wise.. stay away from that Limewire crap.. VIRUS CITY, BABY). That's what I get for trying to download porn I guess. :-p
So here we are, starting a new year. Can you believe we'll be two in May? I have to thank each and every one of you who visit the site and continue to support the place and tell me over and over not to let it go. Special thanks to my friend Kelly in Australia who hooked me up with this fancy, schmancy new version of Dreamweaver so that I can update and design. I'm still learning my way around it so if things look funny from time to time, remember that I am still learning.
Enough rambling. January is the man of the hour's (that's Dave) birthday. Jan. 14 to be specific. We're doing a birthday page here for him so please get your photoshops/contributions in by Jan. 12 so that I can get the page all fixed up and loaded up. I'm a little disappointed that people aren't taking the time to draw stuff out or just saying "Happy Birthday".. C'mon, gang.. get creative! Shit, anyone can say 'happy birthday.' This is your opportunity to give a little back to a guy who totally puts his heart into his music for you. Geeks. Sheesh! Do I have to hit you all over the heads?
