Birthday Book Contest Winner!!
We have a winner in our contest. Maria aka "FooLahLah" was picked by my friends Kevin & Joey as the winner and she will receive the guitar picks as well as a copy of Metal Hammer magazine with the mention of this little website.
I have to let you know that I somehow messed her entry up (like I did a few others). Her e mail was spelled out incorrectly on her contribution and I apologize. Hi everyone!
I have a few more Birthday Book entries that weren't included in the original unveiling the other night so I'd like to feature them here but I have also added them to the birthday book page with all of the other fan contributions.

From Annalisa. This was actually sent in to me on time and it's my fault that it didn't get posted. It got lost in my email and I'm really sorry about that, Annalisa.
And this is from Olivia. There was a transfer of her original from a word document to a picture file and along the way, some of the script was basically just messed up so I fixed it and thought I would post it as she originally intended it.
I think I might have a few more coming in (Emily in New Jersey, I'm looking in your direction!) so keep checking back. We'll just call January Dave's birthday month and keep adding more contributions.
Some of you have asked me about the judging part of the birthday book contest. The truth is that I was so consumed by just getting the book online that I haven't even thought about who can judge. I don't think it would be fair for me to do it so I'll come up with an answer in the next few days and we'll have the winner up here on the site.
Thanks again, everyone. It's nice when we can all come together from all over the world to let Dave know just how important he is to us all.

Happy Birthday, DAVE!!!!
Another year, another birthday book! Hard to believe it's January again, but this time we're celebrating Dave's Big 4-0!!
I want to thank everyone who contributed and took the time to write down or create a birthday wish to Dave. This has always been about giving everyone a chance to tell Dave happy birthday in their own special way. It amazes me year after year the unique and special entries that land in my e mail every day.
Special thanks to all those who offered up extra help to me when I stressed out on the FF board about it ... I appreciate all of the offers. I will seek special therapy soon. Something somewhere is not right! ;-p
As always, thanks to my friend Kevin who ended up creating my entry for me (Just the graphics part. The rest is ME!) And thanks so much to my friend Elle in Germany (EllyPirelly on the FF board) for creating the above graphic, the banners and the frames for the letters to Dave. Beautiful work as always!
So without further ado, Happy Birthday, Dave - from your fans and from me. And I think I speak for everyone when I say don't be gone from us for too long. We're patiently waiting for new music!

Happy New Year!!
Don't forget that January 14 is Dave's 40th Birthday!! We're holding our annual Birthday Book contest! Get your entries in to me by January 11 (I will probably extend the deadline to the 12th though!) You can read up on the rules HERE.
