Wow - there is so much going on, and I'm really behind, so please forgive me.
If you somehow didn't catch the MTV video music awards performance, I put it all in one place on our video page. Also, a few photos HERE. My favorite.
Mark your calendars - Foo Fighters will be on Saturday Night Live: October 13, 2007. Unfortunately, my video capture card is giving me problems so I don't know if I'll be able to get it on the site for you. If anyone else has a way to make screen caps or capture the video, let me know.
A few tour dates are popping up here and there. I am going to try to make it down to the Atlantic City, NJ show on Oct. 6 (returning to the scene of the crime from 2006). We'll see how it goes this time. :-)
So if you've been living under a rock, you wouldn't know that the new album, Echos, Silence, Patience & Grace is released on September 25 (in the states). I know a lot of people have downloaded it already and I know it's available, I just can't listen yet. I have to go buy my copy the day it's out. It's kind of like opening your Christmas presents on Christmas eve and having nothing to do on Christmas. I'll wait.
Hey if you're going to the Atlantic City show, e mail me. We should have a meet up somewhere at the Borgata. AND if anyone out there runs in to Dr. G., and happens to get your photo with the man, send it to me and I'll put it up on our "Dave with his fans" page. I haven't had any contributions in a while.
Now, I know it's a while before January, but it will be here before you know it. We always have a huge party around here celebrating Dave's birthday with our photoshoped birthday wishes. I'm just trying to put the idea in your head to start thinking about your contributions. I already know what my theme is going to be this year and I think I'll start early just so I don't panic at the end of the year. Dave will be 39 on January 14. Check out our past birthday wishes by going to our photos section and scroll down to "Dave's Birthday Books" and relive the genius from years past.
