This weekend was kind of boring and all since I was just taking it easy and trying to get over a small case of the flu, but then JT emails these scans over from GQ Magazine and I have to say I instantly feel better:

The "Grohl Truth". Really GQ? That's clever. That's right up there with "Rock N Grohl".
I think that this is sort of a bunch of old articles thrown in together - some are really old - I recognize them from other publications, but I won't complain because the photos are somewhat new & nice. :-)
I haven't had a chance to have a winner picked for the Birthday Book contest, but I'll start working on that soon. Everyone did such nice work, it's hard to pick an over all winner. Thanks again to everyone that participated.
I'm going to head down to New York City in a couple of weeks to catch Them Crooked Vultures again at Roseland Ballroom. Going to meet up with some friends and kick off 2010 with my first concert this year. I look forward to seeing / meeting you all if you're going to be there. We might try to get in to the Saturday Night Live taping, but that will be tough. Don't know if we'll be able to swing that one.

Happy Birthday, Dave!!
I'm not going to lie....this particular birthday book kicked my ass this year, but it was well worth it!
Thanks(as always)to my good friend Kevin for helping me with the photoshop pictures for my entry.
Thanks to my sister Liz who came up with the Birthday Book "theme" this year on a trip to Maine where I somewhat panicked over what I was going to do.
Extra special thanks to my friend Elle over there in Germany who designed the backgrounds and all of the birthday book announcements etc. that you've seen around the site. She's so talented and always so willing to help me out at a moment's notice. I appreciate everything that you do for me and the website, Elle.
And thanks to all of the fans that helped contribute to the birthday book! It's always so much fun to check my e mail and see the new designs and wishes and letters sent in for Dave.

I don't really have an update, but thought I'd check in, say hello, and wish you all the best in 2010.
