Happy Friday and Happy Birthday to my dear, sweet friend Megumi in Japan! Have a lovely day, sweetie!

Spinner.com has a backstage interview with the Vultures and if you read my blog about our Saturday Night Live adventure, you'd already know that the dress rehearsal was better than the live show. TOLD YOU. *grin*

And because I love you all dearly, here are a few photos. Story of my life.

If you were lucky enough to be in Las Vegas the other night, you could have caught a semi-surprise Foo Fighters show at Rain for AG Jeans.

Or maybe even if you were just hungry and wanted a steak at N9NE Steakhouse, you could have run into this guy:

I sort of feel all TMZ-ish posting that.

Here are a few photos from the show:

Speaking of Vegas... 2 months... the countdown starts. So excited about that one.

Happy Singles Awareness Day!! meh..

Well, grab something to drink and that box of chocolates you received as I have a big update here.

Many of you have been asking about our Saturday Night Live adventure. A few friends and I hung out and got tickets and were lucky enough to get into the dress rehearsal. I'll blog about our adventure because typing it up here would just take up too much space (I am known to sometimes get a bit wordy when writing). I'll just say though that honestly, it was one of the cooler things that I've ever done and I have reasons for that which will go into the blog.

I will share a few photos here with you. Also, on the toolbar below, you'll see a little icon on the left side of the page with a butterfly.. the pictures are there as well.

First, enjoy a small video clip of us hanging out in the wee morning hours in front of NBC. Emily will explain proper hat-wearing-in-the-cold etiquette. Please keep in mind we hadn't slept much and generally look like a bunch of bums. Also, I sound like I am talking through my nose (cold). We cleaned up well though for the show Sat. Night.

Even though I *am* Team CoCo, I will say that it was nice of NBC to provide free soup in the evening and free coffee, tea, hot chocolate, bagels etc. to us in the morning.

And let me also say that yes, we got the 'you guys are nuts' comments from all over the place, but c'mon... where's your sense of adventure? It wasn't that cold out there. Seriously - a minor inconvenience for a few hours for a really great time at Saturday Night Live and we got to see Them Crooked Vultures play and also had the chance to see Dave in a skit! I would do it again in a heartbeat. FUN.

You've probably had the chance to see these by now, but if not:

NBC.com has the lyrics to 'Fist Fight in the Parking Lot' by Crisis of Conformity

By the way, there was a concert on Monday after the Sat. Night Live show. TCV @ Roseland Ballroom. I took a few photos. I've decided that I'm not a great photographer and that the money I spent on this camera I purchased is money down the drain. Either that or Dave just moves so fast behind the drums that it is impossible for the shutter to capture anything. So I surrender. Meanwhile, here's the link to my photos:

How about some more video:

Them Crooked Vultures - Caligulove (Webisode)

Quite a few of you have asked me about the birthday book (has Dave seen it? and who won the contest). I don't have an answer to the first question. I hope so. As for who won? This little guy right here. Tyler. I had so many people tell me how cute and awesome this kid was, I had to just give it to him. The T shirt that I had for the winner was a bit big so when I was in New York, I picked up a smaller shirt with this graphic on it for Tyler. Dude, I hope you wear it in your school pictures next time.

I was hoping to get a chance to see Dave so I could get it (or anything really) signed for him too, but no such luck. Sorry, Tyler. I tried.

So I'll see quite a few of you in April at the TCV Concert in Vegas. Should be a lot of fun. I have a lot of friends from Texas coming in for that show and my boss & his wife (who is a big Dave fan which works to my advantage ;-p Ok, not really) are also going. So I look forward to meeting so many of you that I have talked to through the website over the years. This is my first trip to Vegas so I'm really excited. I mostly feel sorry for Dave that all these freaks will be there harrassing him. Kidding. Mostly.

Keep an eye out for my blog. The link is over there on the left side of the webpage "Leecy's Blog".

Hi Everyone

Straight Talk with Them Crooked Vultures

Milk & Bookies

Milk + Bookies Hosts First Annual Story Time Celebration in Los Angeles Sunday February 28, 2010

Please read up on that as Dave is involved.

I just completely went blank. I know I had one more item to share. I blame old age, lack of sleep, and the fact that I have almost 200 e mails in my inbox that I haven't even started to reply to. I promise if you wrote me that I'll get back to you soon.

Next adventure? Las Vegas, NV in April. I think you know what's going on. I'll be there and looking forward to meeting so many of you that I have talked to over the years. See you there!
