Happy Holidays, everyone!
Here are a couple of "presents" for you. First, turn your volume up and listen to Dave read the classic "T'was the Night Before Christmas". (Thanks to my friend Patrick for this.)
Also, Elle, our graphic design artist in Germany, made this awesome wallpaper and sent along a message for everyone:
To all the 'Sweet Paramania.com' readers: Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays from me. ~Elle.
There are many sizes of the wallpaper to choose from so feel free to grab it up. These will also go up in the wallpaper section of the website.

Thanks, everyone for making 2009 such a great year for me with your e mails, contributions and support for the website. I appreciate it more than you'll ever know. I'm a little sad to see 2009 go, but I look forward to 2010 and I guess now would be a great time to ask Santa for more 'TCV' shows in the states that I can shamelessly attend. *wink wink nudge nudge* Maybe somewhere like Dallas where I could take a million friends along with me (ok, maybe 2 or 3) or maybe a cool Las Vegas show because believe it or not, I've never been there and that would kind of be cool. Thanks, Santa. ;-p
I'm off to Texas to spend the holidays with my family. However and wherever you spend the remainder of 2009, be safe and have a great time......and work on those Birthday book contributions!!!!!
Your friend,
Leecy
The latest issue of Q Magazine has an article featuring Them Crooked Vultures. I haven't had a chance to get a copy yet, but wanted to post this in case you happen to see it on the newstands. Here's the cover:
You know what I love about running this website? Opening up my e mail and receiving just the most random items to share with everyone. I got home last night and had the following caricature drawing waiting on me in my Inbox from James Malia:

I spoke with James last night via e mail and thanked him for the drawing and told him I would mention his website as well. Check out his work and drawings!
I know that a few of you have sent in your photos from various 'Them Crooked Vultures' concerts to share and I will get them up as soon as I can. I haven't had the opportunity to sort through them and size them etc. It's that crazy time of year where I'm trying to juggle work, life, Christmas, travel to Texas, Birthday Book entries (HINT HINT) etc. etc.
Speaking of Birthday Book entries, here's a link to the rules. Please send something in. I hear it every year when the book goes up on Dave's birthday 'I wish I had done something!'. Just write a simple 'happy birthday'. It doesn't take much. If you need help or just need to ask a question, e mail me and I'll help you out.

Coolest thing you'll read today and reason #1553490557416 why we love & admire Dave so much.
My friend Elle in Germany (graphic designer for this website!) was at the 'Them Crooked Vultures' concert in Berlin the other night and was kind enough to send along these photos. Enjoy, and thanks, Elle! Glad you had such a great time.

Another reason why we adore Dave so much. Time Magazine Outtakes:
You can see the full interview below.
Emily sent over the following Time Magazine article "10 Questions for Dave Grohl".

You can also watch Dave answering the questions here:
Kelsey sent over her photos that she took at the Boston "Them Crooked Vultures" concert. Here's a sample below. You can check them all out HERE. Thanks, Kelsey!
Just a little FYI, I have taken down our MySpace page for several reasons - the biggest being I don't like MySpace and we're not getting a lot of hits from it so I'd rather update you through Facebook or Twitter even though I detest Twitter as well. As much as it hurt me to open a Twitter account, I understand that it's sort of the 'it' thing online these days and if it gets information from the website out there then I have to suck it up and go with it.
And of course, the biggest news we have going on right now is that our birthday book / contest is underway. Dave's birthday is January 14, 2010. He'll be 41 yrs old so get your birthday book contributions in! Here are a few suggestions that I neglected to put on the rules page:
Click on the banner below for the rules
I'm having some trouble with the RSS feed for the site so I'll be working on that if you have subscribed.
I feel like I'm leaving something out, but I can't remember what it might be. Hm. I'll update if I remember.
